There have plenty of World War II games over the years, but none with the intrigue and danger of The Saboteur. As Irishman Sean Devlin you must fight back against the Nazi occupation of Paris, working with British Intelligence and the French stance to pave the way for D-Day.


Inspire Parisians to fight by taking out key Nazi targets
Liberate Paris and watch the game world turn to colour
Use stealth and strike from cover to take down targets
Use your athletic skills to get the drop on German agents
Explore an open world recreation of wartime Paris and fight to free the city, with newly liberated districts turning from black and white to colour as the strength of the occupying forces weakens. Only by inspiring the civilians' will to fight can you begin to turn the tide, as you assassinate German officials and sabotage equipment, vehicles and buildings.
The closer you get to final victory the more help you'll have, but for many missions you must rely on your own stealth tactics and combat skills. As you clamber across rooftops and make use of the intuitive cover system, you can help win WWII from a very different perspective.

    Les graphismes sont vraiment démodés , aux vues de ce que peu réaliser la Xbox 36 avec des jeux plus récents je ne vois plu l'interet de celui là pourtent prometteur puisqu'il se passe a Paris... Le scénario est moyen et les missions grossières malgrès une variété de décors ... Je recomande Vivement un MAFIA 2 qui est dans les mêmes prix et Bien Bien Meilleurs !

    The Saboteur is set in a highly reallistic 1940's Paris. Usually war games are not my style of games but this is fantastic. It appears as a mix between GTA SA and IV as well as Assassins Creed (never liked AC).

    The protagonist, Sean Devlin, is an Irish man in the midst of the WW2. He joins the resistance in aim to aid the battle against the Nazis and inspire the people of Paris. The game has a good array of weapons as well as vehicles. Sean can climb up most buildings like on Assassins Creed.

    The main down fall to this game is the main storyline is short; but the number of freeplay sabotaging points is vast.

    Note that the game begins in black and white (where the people of paris are not yet inspired) and colour is reinstated as the game progresses, but don't let this put you off, a game well worth buying and to fully complete takes along time.

    The saboteur is a sand box game in the mold of GTAIV set in the second world war. To be frank I enjoy this more than GTA its a lot more tongue in cheek in style, the driving mechanic is better, but then again it would have to be awful to be worse than GTAs! The missions are the usual go here blow that up, fetch this , talk to him etc. There is a rudimentary stealth system you can use, but missions invariably turn into a firefight of epic proportions. A neat touch is the way the city starts out black and white and districts burst into colour once you've liberated them, its a good idea that lets you know easily when your entering an enemy area. The music is a mix of unbderscores and rousing orchestral bits, but theres also a lot of Parisian Jazz in there too.
    Overall a great game, good fun, but be warned there is a ton of swearing it, not one for the kiddies!
