    La saga Battlefield 2 reste pour moi le meilleur épisode de la série (même si j'ai adoré les autres). Une ambiance de guerre du golfe de folie des addons qui ne font aucunement redit par rapport au jeu d'origine, Hautement moddable a l'inverse des suivants, les graphismes datent de 2005 mais demeurent toujours attrayants, excellent bande sonore. A posséder absolument si on veut savoir ce qu'est Battlefield.

    This game might be 9 years old now, and to some it may look dated when you put it up against BF4 with it's L-evolution novelty (Buildings will drop if you place enough C4 or shell it enough with Tank Cannonfire or RPG grenades)
    But it still has it's charm. I've played this on and off for years in multiplayer but college & University got in the way of most of my online gaming fun. These days i play it through Bootcamp on my Mac and I was quite surprised at how my 3 year old Macbook could handle the graphics. For me I had some difficulty in installing the other games in the collection (I was only able to install Special Forces, which for me was a game I didn't play 1st time around and it was a lot of fun to play ..using Night goggles and Gas masks etc, there were some obvious well thought out visual trickery in that game) It's possible to play this game using a Joypad in using an Xpadder program (which helps you 'map' the buttons to an Xbox 360 controller if you are wanting a change from mouse & keyboard) The other games in the collection wouldn't install for me, plus the community games using the 1.4 patch (which gives you extra maps in the BF2 main game ) forces me to activate and then register them, taking me to a website that no longer exists… Somehow i was able to log in using my old EA login and password (The one Gamespy uses, again I'm not even sure Gamespy exists anymore either, another shock to me in coming back late to this game) Now I hear EA are shutting down it's multiplayer servers on 30th June this year (2014) .. are they nuts?? People still play this game to death!! Even after all these years. 64 players to a server, thats still gotta be impressive! People still have love for this game!..I still play it to death before i go to bed..BF4, yes, its for the consoles but there is always a place in my heart for BF2, where it all began. Call of Duty might be a lot of fun running around like a bunch of kids shooting water pistols at each other, but in Battlefield, theres true tactics involved, some of the hardcore players seriously talk to one another to hunt you down, should you be unlucky to sit around as a sniper. When you're up against a good team in a battlefield game, you're as good as dead! If you're a true Battlefield fan, let you're voices be heard on June 30th, this game should not have to die like all the rest. It has, if anything, set a benchmark for other vehicle based war-games like this to follow.

    Les sites (serveurs) sont toujours bien remplis, c le top... pour pas cher :) même s'il faut télécharger 2,5Gb de Add-ons gratuits pour se mettre à jour.

    This game is really good even though it is old. First of all the graphics of the game obviously are nowhere near the standard of any modern games but to be honest you wouldn't buy an older game if you cared anything for the graphics. The gameplay is very straightforward from what I've played. My main reason for only giving it 4 stars is that I ordered the standard version but received an ea classics version. I know it's being picky but I just don't like the fact that it's a classics version when I ordered the normal one.
