    Being a long time Mickey fan this review may be a little biased. I have not finished the first Epic Mickey and the second one got here earlier than I thought. I did however test to see that it can be played, I note the first area looks brighter than most levels in Epic Mickey 1 even in low brightness settings on the television. This game added a whole new dimension by allowing a second player option, so there are hints of the game advancing in abilities on this second title. I remember other game titles changing mostly the graphics in sequel after sequel(which is fine if one desires as such). I imagine the neatest game play potential in Epic Mickey The Power of Two can be attained when there are actually 2 players advancing together through the course of it.

    I gave this game to my daughter before the Disney Epic Mickey 1 game with excellent results. Not knowing anything about the game I knew I was taking a big chance in not choosing the older one. However, this game has had a good feedback from others and I was told that the graphics were superb.
    We (both child and parent) were not disappointed!

    The graphics looked like so real that you felt that you were in this paint-like world. It was fun to have choices rather than the game making you to do something because of its lack of choices. It felt as if I had more control than most games I have encountered. I was amazed how the game interacted with me rather than me interacting with it. Both my daughter and myself enjoyed this game and that is not an easy thing to accomplish! The only complaint my daughter had about the game was it didn't last longer!

    Disney has done an excellent job creating a universe where you not only build but get to fight the bad guys. Definitely an excellent action packed game without dumbing down the parents! We are all looking forward to the next chapter of Disney Epic Mickey!

    The game is fun and lively. Reprieve of the old characters from the original and a great story just as you would expect from Disney. I really like the co-op elements. there are situations that you have to really work to figure out and requires both players/characters working together to get it done. My only complaint is the camera angle as you maneuver around the game. They seem to always be drifting off and its taking me a lot to get used to it, or rather I am still not used to it. To be fair and full disclosure, I am a 45 year old man--not that that should matter, but somehow it does. My daughter is 15 and she is quite good at maneuvering, so I have to take some of the blame. I was going for the 4 stars because of the squirrely camera, but then reconsidered thinking abut how good my daughter is. I'm going to keep at it. I'm convinced an old dog can learn new tricks! I'll post an add-on when I have finished the game and tell you whether this is really a nuisance or if its just a learning curve that quite possibly depends on age.

    If you played Epic Mickey 1, you know a little bit of what you're getting into (and I do recommend playing it first). Most of what drove me crazy about the first game - camera angles!!!!! - has been fixed in this installment. Plus, the two player format is great. Only complaint there is that I wish you could switch to a horizontal split instead of a vertical division. Not enough of an issue to drop it a star though. This game also feels a lot more in depth and even longer than the first. When we completed the story on EM2, I was scared that it was already over... but they've added so much more after you "beat" the game. No spoilers or anything, but there's a lot more after you finish the main quest. We still haven't completed everything on it... but we won't give up!
