    I have enjoyed Battlefield since 1942 and its no surprise i enjoy this. I am not lying when I say I've played 1500hrs on this. Combined with the Premium DLC BF3 is the complete multiplayer war game. In multiplayer I am a front line medic rescuing allies brought down by enemy fire, a grizzled machine gunner cutting down waves of foolish but brave would be attackers, i am an engineer repairing my friend's tank and firing javelins at enemy vehicles locked by allied laser designators, i am an attack helicopter pilot dealing death from above before diving through trees and under bridges in a desperate evasion of retribution.

    The single player campaign may lack the over the top nature of the Call of Duties but I prefer its slightly more realistic gameplay. The story lacks adult themes for an adult rated game. Its a shame games aren't given the freedom of films when it comes to telling a story. The fear of Fox News blaming adult games for bad childrens behaviour has always seemed dumb logic to me but clearly publishers aren't generally willing to risk moving the medium forward.

    Oh and don't forget to play the coop, its a lot more fun than you'd expect. It's a shame the DLC didn't add more.

    The game is great and uses all capabilities of the PC!
    Unfortunately, there is no LAN-Mode so you could play offline with your friends at LAN parties where we have no internet. :-(

    The only thing that could be left away is the 'Origin' Platform that is needed to play. There are no benefits in having it. It is just cumbersome and only EA profits from it!! :-(

    I bought this from Amazon because it said in the write-up that it was for XP. To my surprise it was not. I have loaded the game onto another computer running on Windows 7 but still have problems with it, but that may be computer related. I think the game is good, but I cannot play it.

    This is a great game with stunning graphics, i purchased this before release and got the B2K (Back to Karkand) Expansion for free, the campaign to me was ok, not to spectacular and not that bad. The multi player is really great with a lot of different game modes. However i do not like the advantage hard core gamers get with unlocking items for vehicles giving them a massive advantage over people who cannot play the game 24/7 due to work and family this game does have a massive learning curve to come with it such as, spray and praying will most likely get you killed and auto firing your whole clip into someone doesn't do the job. When this game was released there was a lot of problems for people and a lot of connectivity issues, but with patches EA/Dice have fixed these issues. I cannot wait for BF4

    I preordered it and have been playing a bit since it was released. BF3 is good fun but can become a bit annoying. If you are buying it now, buy the premium edition not the limited edition as it is the same price and gives you all of the map packs, not just back to karkand (however it's spelt)
